As I walked to my local Trader Joes to get my weekly flowers and groceries, there was a real sense of fall in the air. Golden leaves were scattered around the neighborhood and crunched as i stepped on them. It smelled like evergreen trees and coffee.
It smelled like the pacific northwest. All the fall feels were present, and i was excited to bring out my jackets and even my rain boots. (never thought i’d say that shit. haha)
When people mention Seattle the first thought people go to is the rain and the gloom. Some will mention the amazing summers, but few will mention the fall weather. The leaves are BEAUTIFUL, the air is crisp and its a cozy time of year in the SEA.
We legit can get all four seasons here, sometimes in the same day! lol
Layers are key!
To me Fall symbolizes a season of letting go and a season of harvesting.
Change/ Letting go.
The leaves change color and let go of their attachments to the trees, in order to grow new leaves in the spring.
I am currently in the same process. I just moved into a new place, so i have been cleaning, purging and making space for the new things I’d like to acquire for my new space.
I have been being very intentional with the things i keep, purchase and purge. Everything holds energy and I want to make sure I am filling my life and space with things that make me feel energized, happy and calm.
We hold on to somethings or people that don’t elevate our spirit and if we aren’t careful it can supconiouslly effect us in a negative way.
What are you holding on to? What do you need to purge? What do you need to hold on to?
Harvesting
Galatians 6:9 is one of the bible verses/ mantras I govern my life by.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Continue to live well, and do well. Karma is real. You will always reap what you sow. Even if it’s not immediately, you will reap it.
Patience is key. There is a time to plan, a time to plant, a time to wait and a time to harvest. I remind myself this daily. I look at my “todo list” or goal list and think “ man, if only i can get this done, or have this.” We have to trust the process. Sometimes it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
An oven not a microwave.
Trust the timing of things. God will not give us anything premeditated.
Down time is prep time! Get ready.
To me fall is for family, friends and fun! It’s time to snuggle with your love ones, eat, have hot coco( or whiskey) and be together.
Every season brings different feelings and adventures!

Here are some shots from my adventures in the Snoqualime falls
Snoqualmie Falls is a 268-foot waterfall in located east of Seattle on the Snoqualmie River between Snoqualmie and Fall City, Washington. It is one of Washington's most popular scenic attractions. More than 1.5 million visitors go to the Falls every year. I wanted to visit the falls for the view, the hike and for the spirituality associated with it.
For the Snoqualmie People, who have lived for centuries in the Snoqualmie Valley in western Washington, Snoqualmie Falls is central to their culture, beliefs, and spirituality. A traditional burial site, to the Snoqualmie, the falls are "the place where First Woman and First Man were created by Moon the Transformer" and "where prayers were carried up to the Creator by great mists that rise from the powerful flow." The mists rising from the base of the waterfall are said to serve to connect Heaven and Earth.
It was a phenomenal view and experience. Very peaceful and tranquil.
What does fall feel like for you? How’s your heart?
Be gentle with yourself.
Be intentional with people, places and things.
Let go.
Hold hold.
Trust the process. There is a time to plant, a time to plan, a time to wait and a time to harvest.
Sending you all the love, light and peace in this fall season!
Happy fall y’all!
Cheers!
